Some of the best things in life start with something simple passed down through family.
For me, that something was beef tallow skincare, and the story actually goes back to my grandmother.
My Grandma started making tallow products during the Great Depression. Back then, people didn’t waste anything, and they relied on natural ingredients that truly worked. Tallow was one of those things that families used to protect and care for their skin during harsh weather and hard times.
Years later, that tradition became personal for me.
Both my dad and I have struggled with rosacea. Over the years, we tried just about everything the skin doctors recommended: creams, treatments, prescriptions, but we never liked how any of them made our skin feel. They often left our skin irritated, greasy, or just uncomfortable.
That’s when I decided to go back to what my graNdmother had taught.
I started experimenting with her recipe and eventually created what is now our Whipped Tallow Lotion. I added a few things to enhance the original recipe, whipped it to create a smoother texture, and began using it regularly.
The results were better than anything I had tried before.
Not long afteR that, my cousin started using the whipped lotion too. She loved how it felt on her skin, but it didn’t help her acne as much as she hoped. That challenge led me back to the kitchen again, and after more experimenting, I created our Face Cream.
Since creating that face cream, I personally haven’t needed prescription skin treatments for over two years.
Then we started seeing something even more encouraging.
Our son Chase struggled with eczema. When he was younger, it was just a smAll spot, but once he hit puberty, it suddenly became much worse. We tried doctor-prescribed creams, but they didn’t really solve the problem.
When Chase started using the Whipped Tallow Lotion every day, everything changed. His eczema cleared up and has stayed under control without needing medications that weren’t helping him anywAy. He also uses the face cream, and it has helped keep acne from becoming a major problem for him.
As we started sharing our products with others, we began hearing more stories.
One customer who was battling cancer had extremely dry skin from treatments. Not much was helping her, but after using our whipped tallow lotion, she told us her skin felt repaired and deeply moisturized again.
Another customer had eczema covering her hands and had tried everything she could find. Within a couple of weeks of using our lotion, she started noticing a real difference.
We also have customers who have tried countless face creams over the years and never found one they truly loved — until they tried ours. Hearing how amazed they are at how their skin feels is something that never gets old.
That’s really what R&R FarM Charm is about.
My husband Richard and I believe in making products the old-fashioned way, using simple, natural ingredients and the knowledge passed down through generations. Everything we make is handcrafted on our farm in small batches, just like my grandma used to do.
